School Age Summer Camp Programming
Thank you for considering ECC for your school agers summer care!
We will be utilizing the Summer Spectacular MindWorks curriculum again this year. The Summer Spectacular includes the academic kit, Instructions not included, includes 36 academic lessons. It also comes with 2 Imaginate Kits: Game day and Emote Control with 50 activities plus MindWorks Twists in both kits. All of these enrichment activities will fill up to 136 hours of summertime fun. Here are more detailed descriptions of each kit:
Academic Kit
- Instructions Not Included – No instructions, no problem! Instructions Not Included is ALL critical thinking, reasoning, and problem solving, ALL the time. Whether attempting to complete unusual tasks, examining unique situations, or tackling creative challenges, this STEAM based unit will have you putting on your thinking cap and becoming the ultimate problem solver!
Imaginate Kits
- Emote Control…Be the best you can be! Everyday life is a whirlwind of social-emotional learning (SEL) opportunities and challenges that shape who you are as an individual. From being confident in yourself to knowing how to deal with difficult situations, the collaborative activities in Emote Control will challenge students to recognize ways to be their best selves, no matter what life throws at them. Stress? Relationships? Self-control? No problem when you learn to take control with Emote Control!
- Game Day! Filled with fun-spirited competition, the activities in Game Day will put students’ skills to the test. Whether making an attempt at becoming an olympic champion, being declared a winner in the field of global games, or going on a quest to be the best in individual challenges, this kit will encourage students to make a full-court press towards success. Game Day is a slam dunk!
